Yoga Nidra is one of my absolute essential wellbeing tools for mums.

 

It can be used to support better sleep, it can be as an alternative to, or a support for restorative naps, it is a means of awakening through total relaxation, support and restful self care. 

There are more and more clinical studies on the deep benefits of yoga nidra for wellbeing, deep rest and relaxation... But for now just know it is a means of meditating through simply resting in the here and now. There is nothing to do, no way to do it wrong.

Bed Yoga for Gentle, Nourishing Embodiment..

After having my son my yoga practice just got lazier and more restorative until I was just rolling around on my bed, supporting myself on mountains of pillows, stretching, relaxing and easing any aches and pains from breastfeeding and carrying my baby all day.  

...Thus Bed Yoga was born, and I have been a proud Bed Yogini ever since :)

I love to share these practices with all people wanting a nourishing and restful yoga practice... but especially mums :) 

No yoga mat, experience or exertion needed. Just you, a bed and around 20 mins of free time.

Mantra Practice

 

Mantras are a wonderful wellbeing tool for mums.

 

You can have them on the background while you do the daily do. You can sing them to your kids or with your kids and use them as a way to infuse the sacred into the everyday, or cut through the mental chatter for a few minutes and cultivate some inner peace.
